Founder of RTD Consulting
Regis Damour’s special management and financial skills have led to the founding of RTD Consulting in 2019, in order to help clients build high performing strategies to structure teams, deliver mega projects or simply grow profitably their firm.
For over 10 years, he was the Chief Risk Officer of AECOM, a global firm with $20b in 2018 revenues and 90,000 employees in 130 countries. He actively participated to the development and structuring of a group that grew ten-fold, in less than 15 years, to become a global leader on its markets.
He has demonstrated expertise in restructuring companies but also in developing new lines of business internationally and in managing the high-level teams necessary for such strategies. He also acquired an in-depth knowledge of the complex contractual and financial structures, necessary for mega infrastructure projects, such as Project Finance, in both civil code and common law environments.
With his unique expertise in terms of management of major risks and their impact on day-to-day operations, Regis Damour has also participated as member or chairperson to multiple boards and ad hoc committees.
With his globe-trotting experience across 60+ countries and multidisciplinary approach, Regis Damour strives to develop practical solutions and counsel, accompanying clients from A to Z in their development and industry transitions.

At AECOM, he launched an ERM initiative in 2010, selecting 10 top risks, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies, the monitoring of these risks with consistent indicators and the quarterly reporting to the main board of directors. This risk portfolio was then reviewed every 4 years, as the company and its markets were changing.
At AECOM, he ran for over 10 years the approval process for all projects triggering an exception to the corporate Delegation of Authority (say 2,000 projects a year), chaired the Enterprise Risk Committee approving, every year, the ~50 largest projects of the company, and led the team that reviewed monthly the top 40 ongoing projects from a risk standpoint. He also participated in multiple enterprise committees performing critical corporate functions such as Investment Committee, Disclosure Committee, Ethics & Compliance committee etc.
At AECOM again, he launched AECOM Enterprises in 2006, a subsidiary providing global advisory services to PPP & Concession projects (sell-side for owners as well as buy-side for developers, investors and lenders) with teams in New York, Washington DC, London and Paris.

At AECOM, he took part in multiple large acquisitions, leading or participating in the due diligence phase, and following up with contracts negotiations reflecting the findings of this due diligence (Reps & Warranties). He also lead the immediate sale of certain non-strategic assets that came with some of those large acquisitions.
